How long do Medicube Zero Pore Pads take to work?
On my skin the texture started feeling smoother around day 3, and the patch of bumps I had circled in marker was flat by day 5. That was with one pad every night on clean skin, and my forehead bumps were the clogged, under the surface kind, not cystic acne.

I did not want to guess at this one. Everyone films a before and after from two different angles in two different lights and calls it a result. So I drew a line around the bumpy patch on my forehead with a marker, and then I could not move the goalposts on myself.

Zero Pore Pad 2.0
AHA + BHA toner pads. Textured side down, spot treat only, one to two nights a week.

How long did it actually take?
Day 1 was the baseline and it looked rough, that whole area was raised and it caught the light. Day 2 looked the same to me, which is normally where people quit. Day 3 was the first real change, and it was texture before it was anything visible: my forehead stopped feeling like sandpaper when I ran my fingers over it. Day 4 the redness around the bumps had calmed. Day 5 the patch inside my marker line was flat.
So the honest answer is three days to feel a difference and five days to see one, on me. Skin turns over on its own schedule and yours might be slower, especially if your bumps have been sitting there for months.
Why does it take days and not hours?
These are exfoliating pads. The jar lists AHA and BHA along with panthenol, allantoin and sodium hyaluronate, so it is chemical exfoliation with a few calming ingredients along for the ride. Chemical exfoliation works on skin that is already on its way out, which means the timeline is your skin's timeline, not the product's. Anything promising you a clear forehead overnight is selling you something.

How I used them
Cleanse first, always. A used pad on a dirty face is just moving the day around. I take one pad, use the textured side on my forehead only, and sweep in one direction instead of scrubbing in circles. Then I let it dry down for a minute and go straight into moisturizer. I started at one pad every night because my forehead is oily and it handled it, but if your skin is drier than mine, start at three nights a week.
What would make your timeline slower?
Three things, and I have done all of them. Using them on skin that is already tight or stinging, which means you are exfoliating a barrier that needs to be left alone. Stacking them with a retinoid or another acid the same night, which does not double the speed, it just makes you red. And skipping moisturizer after, which is the one everybody does because the pads leave your skin feeling clean and you think you are done.
Who this is not for
If what is on your forehead is painful, deep or cystic, this is not your product and five days of exfoliating acids is not going to be the answer. Same if your barrier is already compromised, if you are peeling or reactive right now, or if you are on a prescription retinoid without knowing how to space things out. That is a conversation for a dermatologist, not a toner pad. My bumps were clogged texture, and that is a very specific thing to be clear about.
What I will say is that this is the one product I keep rebuying, and the marker line is the reason I trust it instead of just liking it.

Questions I get about this
How long do Medicube Zero Pore Pads take to work?
On my forehead, three days to feel a difference in texture and five days to see the bumps I had circled go flat, using one pad every night on clean skin. Your timeline depends on your own skin turnover, so treat five days as my result and not a promise.
Can you use Medicube Zero Pore Pads every day?
I use one every night and my skin is on the oilier side. If yours is drier or reactive, start at three nights a week and work up. If your skin stings, feels tight or looks red after, that is your cue to space them out, not to push through.
Do they work on actual acne or just texture?
I used them on clogged, under the surface bumps and general rough texture, which is what they did well on. I would not point them at painful or cystic breakouts, and I am not the person to ask about those. That is a dermatologist question.
