Medicube Age-R Booster Pro review: what the device actually does
Age-R Booster Pro 6-in-1. EMS, LED, microcurrent, warming , 6 technologies in one device for glass glow skin at home.
My verdict
The Booster Pro is the device I use when I want my serums to actually go somewhere. Booster mode is the one I use most, three minutes after toner, and the skin looks plumper and takes product better afterward. It is a commitment, not a quick fix, and the results are the routine underneath it. I have not filmed a full review of it.
How I use it
- Cleanse and apply toner or a watery serum. The skin must be damp.
- Booster mode, three minutes, gliding upward over each area.
- Follow with your serum and cream.
- Save the MC and EMS modes for a few nights a week once you are used to it.
Who this is for
Anyone who already has a routine and wants a device for glow and product absorption.
Who this is not for
Pregnancy, pacemakers, metal implants, active breakouts or open skin: skip it or ask your doctor. Do not use it on retinol or acid nights.
Questions I get about it
Does the Booster Pro hurt?
Booster mode is a mild tingle. EMS is a twitch. Keep the skin damp and it is comfortable.
How often can I use it?
Booster mode daily is fine. The other modes a few nights a week.
Which serum works with it?
Anything watery. Not oils.
