Medicube Collagen Peel Off Mask review: the overnight wrapping mask
Collagen Peel Off Mask. Night wrapping peel-off mask with collagen + jelly brush. Skin looks plumped by morning.
My verdict
This is the wrapping mask you paint on with the jelly brush, sleep in and peel off in the morning. On me the skin looks plumper and bouncier the next day, which is a hydration effect that fades in a day or two. Fun, satisfying, not a long term collagen change.
How I use it
- Last step at night, after serum and a thin cream.
- Paint a thick, even layer with the brush, avoid the eyes and hairline.
- Let it set ten to fifteen minutes before you lie down.
- Peel from the edges in the morning, rinse what is left.
- Once or twice a week.
Who this is for
Dull, dehydrated skin, the night before an event, anyone who wants a satisfying peel.
Who this is not for
If you have active breakouts or it is a retinol night, the peel can tug. Not for very sensitive skin or on top of acids.
Questions I get about it
Does the peel off mask hurt to remove?
Not if the layer is thick enough. A thin layer flakes and pulls.
Can I wash it off instead of peeling?
Yes, warm water and a cloth if peeling is not for you.
Does it add collagen to my skin?
Topical collagen sits on the surface and holds water. The plump look is the hydration it locks in overnight.
