Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 review: how I actually use it
Zero Pore Pad 2.0. AHA + BHA toner pads. Textured side down, spot treat only, one to two nights a week.
My verdict
The pads that cleared my closed comedones in about three weeks, once I used them right. Textured side on the skin, spot treat only, one to two nights a week, fold them in half. Used wrong, nightly and all over, they did nothing for me and can wreck a barrier. AHA and BHA are strong. Respect them.
How I use it
- Cleanse and dry the skin.
- Textured side down, only on the forehead, nose or wherever the texture is.
- One to two nights a week, never on a retinol night.
- Fold each pad in half so one jar lasts twice as long.
- Moisturizer on top.
Who this is for
Closed comedones, forehead bumps, textured nose and chin, oily skin.
Who this is not for
Irritated barrier, retinoid users, anyone already on another acid. Pick one exfoliant. This is not a nightly all-over toner.
Questions I get about it
Which side of the Zero Pore Pad goes on the skin?
The textured side. The smooth side just spreads liquid around.
How often should I use Zero Pore Pads?
One to two times a week, on the spots that need it.
Can I use them with retinol?
Not on the same night. Keep pad nights and retinol nights separate.
